Crewel Work Embroidery Kit, 'The Arts & Craft Garden'

The design elements of the Arts and Craft movement in the late 19th century didn't just reside in the home but extended to the Garden too, with a ethos of gardening with nature and a thinking of adding additional living space in the shape of garden rooms. Romantic plantings were abundant with rambling climbers mixed with wildflowers and traditional cottage plants like Irises, roses and of course Peonies featured here with my design, I so enjoyed designing this design and giving a nod to one of my favourite historical times. 

'The Arts & Craft Garden' is a new fun take on Crewel Work Embroidery which I hope you will enjoy, after I've painted the design for the  background image the artwork is then turned into a digital image using computer software with stitch outlines and stitch guidance included, the design is then professionally printed Digitally onto Organic Half Panama natural Cotton at 280gsm weight by a brilliant UK company to an excellent standard of print. The design comes printed with a grey blue base colour with the outline and stitch guidance included.
All the kits come with full written and pictorial instructions and of course suitable needles to complete your project. 
Recommend Embroidery Frame for your project, Hand Rotating Frame, 24 inch x 12 inch, 61cm x 30cm, (UK delivery only with this frame) Note: Embroidery hoops may graze and crease the digital printed background fabric, please test a corner of the fabric before mounting in a embroidery hoop for long periods of time.
