'Goldfinch Fresco' Embroidery Crewel Work Kit.
Welcome to Melbury Hill's range of Crewel Embroidery kits, all kits in our ranges are designed by me. 
'Goldfinch Fresco' is inspired by Roman Fresco's (murals painted with pure pigments mixed in water on wet lime plaster) from Pompeii. Roman first century A.D. Fresco's are amazingly modern in there design, depicting all manner of subjects, fauna & flora, glorious Gardens and all of life is present.  
'Goldfinch Fresco' is a new fun take on Crewel Work which I hope you will enjoy, after I've painted the design for the  background image the artwork is then turned into a digital image using computer software with stitch outlines and stitch guidance included, the design is then professionally printed Digitally onto Natural Linen fabric at 228gsm weight by a brilliant UK company to an excellent standard of print. 
All the kits come with full written and pictorial instructions and of course suitable needles to complete your project.
