Worked by Sarah Stevens in a technique called Stump Work or Raised Embroidery, it's a one off one of a kind embroidery, Mounted on card and backed with Sateen fabric, worked in DMC stranded cotton using stitches and techniques like, Long and short, turkey rug stitch, wrapped wire, Button hole, the background fabric is cotton embellished with Gold platted Spangles, Finished size: 14cm x 14cm Motif Size: 8cm x 8cm. Would make a lovely gift for the embroidery lover.
