This Crewel Work kit is based on and influenced by Jacobean crewel work which traditionally consisted of a single colour, many used for clothing and upholstery fabrics. For "Heritage (Delftware)" inspiration was taken from contemporary designs used on 17th Dutch Delftware tiles, which often depicted every day life to the weird and wonderful. Great for the beginner or an introduction to Crewel.

Worked in one simple stitch "Stem Stitch", great for beginners in Crewel.
